Salisbury

On the Salisbury courses, you stay at Sarum College, a Georgian/Victorian building set in the Cathedral Close within the medieval walls. You may get a room with a view of the Cathedral and there are not many views to beat this! The college provides superb food and A-grade ensuite accommodation. There are two practice instruments in the college and a library.  

Residents on this course usually get some time on the Cathedral organ which is such a treat. This takes place early on the second day after breakfast.

For a number of years, courses for Volunteer Organists have been a popular part of the teaching programme taking place at Sarum College in Salisbury, combining informal and sympathetic teaching with the pleasures of residence in the Cathedral Close. These courses have become a popular focus for pianists who have been 'thrown in at the deep end' with organ playing at their church.
